Simple Scrapbooking with the Lovely & Beautiful Suite
Hey friend! If you’re looking at this scrapbook layout and thinking, that looks complicated—looks hard… but it’s not.
Today I’m sharing Layout 2 from this week’s Friday Freebie, created with the Lovely & Beautiful Suite Collection. This layout may look layered and detailed, especially with those flower clusters—but I promise, it comes together faster and easier than it looks.
This is one of those designs that gives you that “wow” factor without overthinking every detail. My favorite kind.
What You’ll Need
- Lovely & Beautiful Suite Collection
- Cardstock (I used Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Fresh Freesia, Darling Duckling, Petal Pink, and Basic White)
- Lovely & Beautiful Designer Series Paper
- Ephemera and embellishments for flower clusters
- Trimmer, adhesive, and your usual crafty favorites
Why This Layout Works
The magic of this layout is in the flower clusters. They add texture, movement, and visual interest—but they’re built with simple layers and repetition. Once you create one cluster, the rest fall into place quickly.
The sketch does the heavy lifting for you, guiding where everything goes so your page feels balanced without fussing. It’s proof that a layout can look detailed and still be very beginner-friendly.
And yes—you can absolutely adapt this design for cards, too.
