Title: How to Make a DIY Fall Wreath Frame

Reading Time: 5 minutes

Looking for an easy DIY fall decor project that looks like it came straight out of a boutique? You’re in the right place. In this tutorial, I’m showing you how I used the newest Stampin’ Up! kit to create a custom Fall Wreath Frame—complete with 7 time-saving steps to keep the process simple and stress-free.

This project is perfect for crafters of any skill level, and whether you’re making it for your own home or as a gift, you’ll love how quickly it comes together. I’ve included detailed photos, shopping links for all the Stampin’ Up! products, and even an Amazon list with the tools I used—so you can recreate the look with ease. Huge shout out to Artisan, Kim McGillis, who inspired me with her original GIANT frame wreath. I knew I could “scrap-lift” it and make a mini version of hers. Love the sharing that happens at Stampin’ Up!.

7 Time-Saving Steps to Create the Fall Wreath Frame:

If you’re a visual learner, you’ll love the 18 detailed photos below. I also walk through these steps in the video tutorial, but here’s the quick breakdown:

Step 1: Open the kit up.

Step 2: Start prepping the leaves.

Step 3: Organization of these leaves is KEY! It will save you so much time, I promise.

Step 4: Make a circle with the garland raffia metal twine. It’s super bendable and easy to mold into the perfect circle you need. I placed it on top of the chicken wire frame to see exactly how big I needed it to be. Take the ends of the garland and un-coil it once you know the size of your circle. Use these ends to secure them onto the circle to keep its shape.

Step 5: Secure with Hot Glue
Once you’re happy with the leaves that you’ve grouped together, secure everything with a hot glue gun. Add leaves to fill in any gaps or add color to create added dimension. Love the bronze foil leaves for this.

Step 6: Add leaves to circle wreath.

Step 7: Create your banner. This is the finishing touch!

Check out the video I made walking you through all these steps.

This Fall Wreath Frame project is proof that you don’t need a full weekend to make something beautiful. With the right tools, a little prep, and some smart shortcuts, you can create a custom decor piece in under an hour—and have fun doing it.
